December has always been my favorite month of the year not only because it’s holiday season but for many other things. That’s why for this very last month of 2012, I will put up my favorite things in pictures and yes I am kinda inspired by Julie Andrews’ “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music which become one of most popular non-christmas related song but often included in christmas albums. So, even though I’m two-three days late, I welcome my December!
I always say to myself thay I must explore and take advantages from this city of lights as long as I can. Living in Paris is almost like living a dream. Nope, it wasn’t the Eiffel tower that made my heart beats a lil bit faster. It’s those lil things in daily life of being parisian (or banlieusard in this matter) and one of those lil things is to be able to take a closer look on big actors and actresses without paying a dime.
Last night, I was in the mood for random photo-hunting in Paris. I had no plan or such until I saw this 50ish person in line in front of a movie theater. After taking few shots of this beeline, I saw a red carpet and tv crews and security guy everywhere. So, I decided to wait in the cold november night and quite excited to be there when I saw Bérénice Bejo (The Artist, 2011) arrived with Shaun Benson thanks to Google), a canadian actor. Then, Romain Duris (L’Auberge Espagnol/Spanish apartment, 2001) and Déborah François came along.
It was apparently the première of Populaire, a french film by Régis Roinsard about a secretary, her boss and some typing competitions in the late 50’s and rumour has it, the movie will become another succes story for François who won her César on 2009.
